Aerial Yoga.

Aerial Yoga offers a beautiful opportunity to bring an added layer of support and surrender to your yoga practice. Held by a silk hammock, you will journey through a full yoga practice with the added bonus of flipping upside down and flying above the ground. Is it fun and playful? Yes. Is it still a deeply meditative practice? Absolutely.

Whether you’re completely new to aerial or not, you can join me for a mixed level aerial yoga class in Botley every Thursday evening, as well as retreats around Hampshire.

Restful yoga.

My mat-based yoga classes are centred entirely on rest. Because let’s face it. Life is fast. It’s challenging, it’s demanding and it can be pretty tough to carve time out for you. That’s why slowing down is at the heart of my grounded yoga classes.

I run a weekly class - The Cosy Club - in Bursledon which combines yin, somatic movement and yoga nidra. Every week, we explore a different combination of styles, all underpinned by a theme which aims to nudge you closer to your soul’s needs.

I also teach a monthly gathering in Wickham; Deep Rest and Candlelight. All practices are perfect for total newbies and die hard yogis alike.

Hey, I’m Amber.

Your completely non-judgemental (because pals, I am faaaar from perfect) yoga teacher who adores combining free flowing movement with the written word and storytelling (I don’t like to brag BUT I have been called the Queen of Savasana).

I’m a gal who wears her heart on her sleeve, so you can expect a compassionate environment, lots of laughter, a whole bunch of understanding and mega cheers when you nail something you haven’t been able to do before.

I’m in love with yoga and I can’t wait for you to fall in love with it too.

  • The aerial yoga classes are so much fun as well as extremely good for your wellbeing.

Amber makes everyone feel welcome, the classes are super friendly and you can do as much or as little and you feel comfortable with, Amber is always there for support.

  • I was lucky enough to attend a yoga retreat in Dorset with Amber. She is a very special being.

The classes were brilliant and it was wonderful to have the time to relax and fully immerse myself in all styles of yoga, including aerial. I can’t wait to go on another retreat with Amber ☺️

  • Amber is a fantastic yoga instructor. Her kindness is apparent in all she does.

I’ve found her deep rest sessions to be healing and such important moments to be reflective. Her use of words is particularly moving to aid the yoga poses.

  • 5 stars aren’t enough. Amber is incredible and I would highly recommend her to everyone!

I was new to yoga but I didn’t feel it at any moment as Amber makes you feel completely at ease and so comfortable. She’s so thoughtful and mindful and I came away feeling so much better and completely relaxed!

Yoga in Southampton.

Why yoga?

The benefits of yoga know no bounds. It helps us become more in touch with our physical, spiritual and energetic body. It encourages us to slow down. To pay attention. To be more mindful. To accept ourselves, wholeheartedly. Yoga enables us to feel strong and powerful, curious and playful.

If you’re new to yoga or aerial yoga - or perhaps it’s been a while since you rolled out the mat or jumped into a hammock - do not worry. Yoga will always be there for you, however and whenever you need it.

If you are searching for a path towards deeper sleep, a calmer nervous system and a more grounded perspective, yoga could be the answer.
